Most of you here
today are prolife advocates for the unborn, and I only have 30 minutes to
talk. For that reason, I’ll spend most
of my time talking about personhood for the unborn, in particular the
personhood amendment, CI 102. We’re
trying to get an amendment to the Montana Constitution that states that
personhood begins at conception. In
Article II, section 17 of Montana’s Constitution, it already states that no
person will be deprived of life,
liberty and the pursuit of property without due process of law. We plan to have this amended to state that
regarding due process protection starts at conception. It is probably fairly obvious to most or
all of you here that unborn children are persons. If you were to ask an 18 month old child
what this is a picture of, they’d tell you it’s a baby. It is absurd that we even have to have this
conversation, but our culture has become so perverse and the word of God has
been so twisted that here we are
